The Pratt Journal of Architecture is a publication dedicated to investigating the methods, theories and tools employed through the study of architecture in the 21st century. It is created by students of the undergraduate school of architecture at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
Originally published in 1985, the journal has been a beacon for students, professors and established professionals to take a critical look at architecture. As a publication focused on architecture, we aim to challenge the conventions of the past as well as navigate new practices for the future. For its revival and publication of a fourth volume, the Pratt Journal of Architecture is revisiting the topic discussed in the 1992 publication entitled, on Making.
The journal is currently seeking support for publication costs. Please visit our Support page for more information on how to contribute.
